How it works
Each phone number gets its own agent — persona, greeting, handoff rules. Changes go live on the next call, no redeploy. Callers only ever hear the business name, never a product name.
New agent
1Essentialsnumber · name · voice · greeting

The Twilio number callers dial. This is the agent's identity.

Leave blank for a sensible default built from the business name. If you enable recording below, include a disclosure here (“calls may be recorded”).

2Personality & knowledgeoptional — blank = smart default

What the agent knows and how it behaves. The default already captures the caller's name, number and reason.

3Human handoffoff — AI takes messages

With a number set, the agent can connect callers to a real person. When the transfer is allowed is your policy:

If the human doesn't pick up within 20s, the caller is offered voicemail — a transfer never dead-ends.

4Lead deliverydatabase only

Every call's capture (lead + summary + transcript) is always stored here in the console. Optionally also push it out:

A text after each call, sent from the business's own number.

5Call recordingoff

Recording-consent laws vary by region. If enabled, put a disclosure line in the greeting (e.g. “this call may be recorded”).
